The picturesque village of Kappl lies in an idyllic, dreamy landscape to the right of Paznaun. The village enjoys the rays of the sun from morning to sundown – getting out and about just couldn't be more enjoyable. The village has been spared the usual fleet of hotels you would expect to find in a holiday resort and has remained true to nature in every way.
Most of our guests stay in private pensions or in holiday cottages and of course we have many returning visitors attracted by the special care and attention afforded them so freely by their hosts. Money just cannot buy this special attention, and you certainly can't order it in advance!
With its 2900 inhabitants, Kappl is the largest village in Paznaun and can accommodate 5000 guests. The village has its own ski-resort with 40km of pistes ranging from 6000ft to 8800ft. Kappl stands out as a very reasonably priced ski area, and is ideal for a family holiday. This year we built a wonderful ski and family adventure park to satisfy even the most sophisticated expectations. The Sunny Mountain Adventure Park right at the heart of the district offers a first class restaurant which offers our guests a supervised kindergarden and also a ski-school which also has a large kindergarden. All you need to guarantee you and your children a fun, easygoing holiday.
