Ischgl is located in western Tyrol, probably the region's snowiest area, at a height of 1,377 m above sea level.
Together with the 11 surrounding hamlets, Ischgl has has approximately 1,500 inhabitants. With a capacity of around 10,000 beds and a total of 42 ski lifts, Ischgl now counts as one of Europe's finest tourist resorts.
